Soccer is a game that millions of people have infused into their blood. The speed, strength, and flow of the game is what keeps us coming back for more. The game has become a virus that has taken over our nation and has even affected our little neighborhoods here in Southern Utah.
More kids than ever before are putting on their boots and hitting the fields with soccer ball at their feet and the desire to win in the minds. I have had the privilege to personally see the growth of the game in our community. It has gone from just high school teams, to small numbers of club teams, and has now become hundreds of club teams. Southern Utah Soccer is becoming a force to be reckoned with.
With this growth we have also seen the increase in talent among the local youth. Many of which has gone on to continue playing at our local university, and other universities around the country.
One of our many goals here at STG Soccer Skills is to take the knowledge and skills obtained by college soccer players and transfer them to our local youth, in order to continue the improvement of the game here in our community.
